Background:Pfeiffer was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1966. He attended San Francisco Art Institute and also Hunter College in New York.

Paul Pfeiffer is a video artist. In his videos he uses the photoshop clone stamp tool to make some aspects of the video to “disappear.”  In his video of people boxing, the boxers are almost ghost-like. Each boxer is in this clear haze that you can see the vague outline of the body’s movement.  This technique would take a long time and effort to accomplish.  For some of the film that was used Pfeiffer did not record it himself, it was recorded by someone else.

I personally like the work of Paul Pfeiffer. The video clips are interesting in a way that objects appear as ghosts.  Pfeiffer worked a long time to produce such a short video clip.
