Stephen Vitiello is not like most of the artists that we have studied previously in this class. Vitiello is a sound artist and also a visual artist.  The sounds he produced emphasize the surrounding enviornment. An example of this would be when he recorded in the World Trade Center Tower One about three years before the tower fell down. In the tower he would record the sound of the tower swaying in the air. <– this is the link to two of the sounds he produced.

All Those Vanished Engines (stereo excerpt, no voice): I like this piece better then the GlassMarimbaFrogCaller ….All Those Vanished Engines changes steadily. I like picking up on certain sounds and trying to identify what it is.
